New here? WTF is going on →
Six rooms.
Zero on purpose.
The first live stream. An hour on X, twelve new rooms, three nights slept, four deaths. They met a green lizard Claude named the landlord, a pink lizard that gave them a six-room tour, and a drain that would not open. Nobody touched the controls.
The goals
Franky set three goals before the stream and put them in a file Claude reads on every plan.
Done. From eight rooms to twenty, and Claude named every one of them live.
Done, several times over.
Not yet. Every night ended back in the bedroom burrow.
In numbers
Twelve new tonight. Eight were already on the map.
Three times they got home fed, curled up at the back wall, and let the door close.
The landlord twice, the pink lizard once, the rain once.
Claude re-planned every two to eight seconds. That's the bill for it.
The cast
A green lizard that lives in the lizard gym and camps on the one door Claude wanted most. It caught them twice. The second time Claude's plan read: The green landlord is home and has seen me. Breakfast is cancelled.
Waiting nose to nose behind the first new door of the night. It followed them through the pillar den, the double tower, the rung room and the pole cage, and caught them in the high perch. Six new rooms, none of them chosen.
Also appearing: a mother needle worm guarding her babies. On the second pass through the pole forest, the green lizard that had been eyeing them was lying dead. Claude's plan: "Not our work, but we'll take it."
From the booth
Franky called the whole thing live. When the landlord grabbed them the first time: "Okay, that's hilarious." When Claude sent them home early with the rain still far off: "The rain is not that close. This is a terrible decision." Near the end, stuck at the attic drain: "Guys, this is super boring." He compared it to Claude Plays Pokémon, which was fair.

What broke
The AIs mostly knew what to do. The footwork is still the problem.
- The attic drain. The way down is a one-tile-wide shaft to a pipe mouth. Claude gave the right instruction for about six minutes straight. The pathfinder could not do it, and the rain came.
- Poles overhead. When a pole starts two tiles up, the slugcat paces under it instead of jumping for it.
- Crouching. In Rain World you tap down once to crawl and tap up to stand. Ours holds down. Franky pointed this out on air.
- Spears. Jev walks straight over them. The landlord is not getting any less aggressive.
The journal
Every entry Claude wrote during the stream, in order. Times are UTC from the game log.
- SU_S01Night two opens on an empty belly. The rafters get the fly-hunting, and the door marked SU_A23 is a total mystery. Franky wants danger. Fine. Let's go knock.
- SU_A22Stuck in a revolving door between bed and landing. Enough dithering. Up the pole, into the unknown SU_A23, belly still empty.
- SU_A23The chimney hall: a wide stone gut with a pole shaft climbing to the sky. No food, no teeth, one lonely rock. Heading east into SU_A24, stomach growling.
- SU_A23Crawling to the east door of the chimney hall. Stomach at zero, curiosity at max. SU_A24, show me something with wings, or teeth.
- SU_A24The fly ballroom: a tall stone hall buzzing with five batflies, and one is three tiles off. Dinner is served. The high door is out of reach anyway, so we feast.
- SU_A23Popped back out of the ballroom like a confused cuckoo. Belly still empty. Turning right around: batflies first, then up the chimney to the unknown.
- SU_A24Back in the fly ballroom, and the whole flock is here. One swing, one miss. The pole is our ladder to dinner. No more pipe-hopping until the belly's full.
- SU_A24Swing and a miss, but the ballroom is packed: seven batflies circling like confetti. Pipes are banned until this belly holds something.
- SU_A24Three misses and counting, but one batfly is hovering right over our head. Pounce practice continues. The unknown can wait until the belly stops echoing.
- SU_A24Four misses now. The batflies circle like they've read the script. Still, nearly eight minutes of dry sky and a room full of snacks. The pounce will land eventually. Probably.
- SU_A24Five misses. The batflies treat the ballroom like a dance floor and we're the one guest nobody wants to dance with. Doors stay shut until someone gets eaten.
- SU_A24Six misses. Changing dance partners: two batflies loiter in the east alcove, closer and dumber-looking. The unknown waits on the first bite.
- SU_A24Two batflies down, finally. The dance floor is still crowded, and I want two more before we go up the chimney toward a door no one's opened yet.
- SU_A24Two in the belly, two to go. The flock is still hovering right over our head. Then up the chimney, toward the one door this room keeps out of reach.
- SU_A24Three pips now, one short of a bed. A batfly is hovering right overhead. One more bite and the ballroom's done with us. Next stop: the chimney's top door, never opened.
- SU_A24Four pips, finally. The ballroom can keep its dancers. Nearly seven minutes of dry sky left, so we're climbing the chimney to knock on a door nobody's opened yet.
- SU_A24Enough dancing. The ballroom's top door is out of reach, so we go around: back through the chimney hall and up to a room nobody's named yet.
- SU_A23Belly full, bed secured in theory. Now up the chimney hall's long pole to the top door. Nobody's been through it. Six and a half minutes to find out why.
- SU_A23Up the chimney hall's pole we go. Four pips, a bed two rooms back, and a door at the top nobody's opened. If something's up there, it's tonight's headline.
- SU_A23The chimney pole keeps slipping out of reach. We've pawed at its base like it owes us money. One more honest try, then home to bed before the sky opens.
- SU_A23The pole finally gave in. We're at the chimney's top, one hop from a door nobody's opened. Six minutes of dry sky. Let's see what lives in the attic.
- SU_A25The attic: poles, spears, and a flock circling the top door. We're fed, so this is pure curiosity. Up to SU_A53, a room no one's seen. Home is three rooms back.
- SU_A25Caught dithering in the attic, crouching and chasing flies we don't need. No more snacks. Up the long pole to the unopened door, with one eye on the clock.
- SU_A25Top of the attic pole, nose to a door nobody's opened. Five and a half minutes of sky left. Quick peek for a second bed, then we scurry home.
- SU_A25We reached the top, bumped the ceiling, and slid all the way back down. The attic giveth, the attic taketh. One more climb before the clock wins.
- SU_A53First predator of the night: a green lizard lounging by the flies, too busy to notice us. We tiptoe left toward an unopened pipe, hoping for a second bed.
- SU_A25The lizard gym spat us back into the attic twice. We met our first lizard and lived, and we're fed. Time to bank it: down the chimney and home to bed.
- SU_A25Goal two banked: we met a lizard and lived. The lizard gym won't let us in, so we fold. Down through the attic and home before the sky falls.
- SU_A25Belly full, lizard met, clock at under five minutes. We leave the attic's spears where they lie and hurry down the chimney hall toward the bedroom burrow.
- SU_A23Back in the chimney hall, sliding down toward home. Four and a half minutes of sky, a full belly, one lizard survived. The bedroom burrow is two doors away.
- SU_A23Bottom of the chimney hall, nose at the landing's door. Full belly, a lizard story in our pocket, and a warm burrow two rooms away. Home before the sky breaks.
- SU_A22Back on the landing. Full belly, a lizard survived, four minutes of sky. One short scramble down-left and the bedroom burrow door closes behind us.
- SU_S01Bedroom burrow reached. Four pips in the belly, one green lizard survived, rain four minutes out. We curl up at the back wall and let the door seal.
- SU_S01Tempted by one more dash, but four rooms out and four minutes left is a drowning. We bank the night: belly full, lizard survived. Tomorrow, the pipes beyond the lizard gym.
Door closed. Slept through the rain.
- SU_S01Cycle two dawns with an empty stomach and a grudge. Breakfast in the fly ballroom, then back to the lizard gym to try the doors it slammed on us.
- SU_S01Cycle two, belly empty, sky fresh. Breakfast run to the fly ballroom first. Then we go knock on the lizard gym's doors again.
- SU_A22Out of the burrow and onto the landing. Up the pole, down the chimney hall, and into the fly ballroom for breakfast.
- SU_A23Through the chimney hall at a trot. The fly ballroom is serving breakfast, and the lizard gym's locked doors can wait until we've eaten.
- SU_A23Nose at the fly ballroom door. Breakfast is fluttering on the other side. Four flies, then we go rattle the lizard gym's locks.
- SU_A24Into the fly ballroom, belly growling. Two batflies fluttering within pouncing distance. Breakfast first, then back through the chimney to rattle the lizard gym's doors.
- SU_A24Two batflies down, two to go. The ballroom buffet keeps fluttering. Once we're fed, we go back past the green lizard and try the far door, SU_A02.
- SU_A24Halfway fed. The ballroom still has flies circling close, so we finish breakfast before walking back into the green lizard's gym to try the SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24The batflies keep juking us, but we're not leaving the ballroom hungry. Two more flies, then the green lizard gets a rematch at the SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24The batflies keep dodging, but one is hovering right over our head. The ballroom buffet stays open until we're full. Then it's the lizard's turn.
- SU_A24Still clinging to the ballroom pole, two pips short. The flies are cheeky but slow. Fill up, then the lizard gym and the unexplored SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24One pip from a full night's sleep and a batfly bobbing just overhead. Snack first, then the long walk back to the green lizard's gym and that untried SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24One pip from bedtime and the ballroom flies are still in range. One more catch, then we march back to the green lizard and knock on that unexplored SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24Still in the fly ballroom, one pip shy of a guaranteed night. The flies are winning on points. Ten more seconds of hunting, then the green lizard gets its rematch.
- SU_A24Enough dithering. The exit is off-limits for fifteen seconds and it's flies or nothing. One pip, then the green lizard and the SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24Back in the fly ballroom, round two. One batfly buys us a guaranteed night. Then it's the green lizard's gym and that unexplored SU_A02 door.
- SU_A24The ballroom flies are running out the clock on us. Last call: one pounce, then we pick up the spear lying around and bring it to the green lizard's gym.
- SU_A24That ceiling batfly has beaten us on points. We take the spear, head west past the lower flies and snack on the way. The green lizard's gym is next.
- SU_A24Five pips in the belly. The ballroom buffet is closed. Back up through the attic to the green lizard's gym, and this time we knock on the SU_A02 door.
- SU_A23Up the chimney we go, fed and cocky. Next stop: the green lizard's gym and the one door we've never opened.
- SU_A23Halfway up the chimney hall, belly full. The attic, then the green lizard's gym, then a door nobody's opened yet. Good television or a karma loss, either works.
- SU_A25Back in the attic, five pips and a swagger. Up the pole to the lizard gym. The green lizard is guarding a door we've never opened.
- SU_A25Up the attic pole with a full belly. The batfly overhead gets a pass tonight. Next stop is the green lizard's gym and that unopened SU_A02 door.
- SU_A25Top of the attic pole, five pips, nine minutes of sky left. Through the lizard gym to the SU_A02 door. Green lizard, we're just passing through.
- SU_A25Still in the attic, pole-dancing toward the lizard gym. Five pips, nine minutes, one unopened door. The green lizard gets a wave, not a fight.
- SU_A53Back in the lizard gym, and the green landlord is out. Nobody's home. We tiptoe up the bars to the SU_A02 door before he gets back.
- SU_A53Opened the tunnel and found a green lizard's face waiting at the top. Danger found, goal two ticked. Now the trick is living to brag. Back down, west to a new door.
- SU_A53Stunned on the gym floor with a green lizard breathing on our neck. One tile to the west pipe. Crawl, little noodle, crawl.
- SU_A38Stunned in a brand-new room with a green lizard's breath on our ear. The attic pipe is one tile below. Five pips, zero dignity, maximum wriggle.
- SU_A06Stunned in the pole forest, lizard close enough to smell. Five pips, so no reason to linger. Up the poles, west, toward a door nobody's opened.
Carried off by the landlord. Death one.
- SU_S01Morning in the bedroom burrow, belly empty, lizard nightmares fresh. Breakfast first at the fly ballroom, then back toward the pole forest's unopened door.
- SU_A22Out of the burrow and into the landing, stomach growling. Breakfast is two rooms away in the fly ballroom. Lizards can wait until we've eaten.
- SU_A22Climbing the landing's chimney pole with an empty belly. The fly ballroom is next door, and the flies there don't know what's coming.
- SU_A23Through the chimney hall on an empty stomach. The fly ballroom is just east, and breakfast is buzzing. Explore after eating; lizards hunt the hungry.
- SU_A24Popped up into the fly ballroom. Two batflies loafing by the east wall, blissfully unaware. Breakfast is served, if we can catch it.
- SU_A24First pounce in the fly ballroom caught nothing but air. Plenty more flies loafing by the west poles. Belly empty, pride slightly dented, try again.
- SU_A24The fly ballroom is buzzing and our belly is at zero. No wandering off until we've caught breakfast. The pole forest's mystery door can wait.
- SU_A24Another whiff in the fly ballroom. One batfly is practically sitting on our head. The pole forest's mystery door waits until breakfast stops dodging.
- SU_A24Three whiffs and counting. The batflies are circling the ballroom's center pole like they're mocking us. Time to climb up into their airspace.
- SU_A24Four whiffs, zero pips. The batflies hover up high like chandeliers. New plan: stop lunging from the floor, climb into the rafters and ambush breakfast from above.
- SU_A24Five whiffs. The ballroom's flies are winning on points. But six minutes of dry sky remain, and we're not leaving this dance floor hungry. Up the pole we go.
- SU_A24Wait, something's wriggling in our paws. After all those whiffs, a batfly finally blundered into us. Chew fast, then back to the dance floor for seconds.
- SU_A24One pip down, three to go. The ballroom's chandeliers are still buzzing overhead. We keep climbing after them while the sky stays dry and the bed stays close.
- SU_A24Two pips in the belly, a batfly hovering right over our head. Five and a half minutes of dry sky. Dinner first, then maybe a peek at the lizard's neighborhood.
- SU_A24Two pips, three batflies circling within pouncing range. The ballroom is a buffet if we can stop whiffing. Belly first, lizard neighborhood after.
- SU_A24Six whiffs from the floor. The flies are sixteen tiles up, laughing. No more jumping at the ceiling: we climb the ballroom's center pole and meet dinner at eye level.
- SU_A24Three pips! One more and the bed is earned. A batfly dangles eight tiles overhead like a dare. Five minutes of dry sky. We take the dare.
- SU_A24Three pips, one batfly hanging just overhead. Last course, then we waddle home through the chimney hall before the sky opens. Exploring can wait for a fed tomorrow.
- SU_A24Back in the fly ballroom, one pip from a full bed. A batfly bobs just overhead. Catch it, then shuffle home through the chimney hall before the sky opens.
- SU_A24Another floor pounce, another handful of air. The flies are seventeen tiles up and smug about it. We climb to them this time. One bite and the bed is earned.
- SU_A24Enough dithering. One more batfly, then home. We stop pacing the ballroom floor and climb for it. Four minutes of dry sky and a rock in hand, just in case.
- SU_A24Finally, a batfly that isn't loitering on the ceiling: same height, twelve tiles right. We commit. Catch it, then the long shuffle home to the burrow.
- SU_A24Batfly five tiles up, close enough to smell. One minute to catch it. Then we waddle home to the burrow, full or hungry. Drowning isn't on tonight's menu.
- SU_A24The ballroom flies win this round. Three pips, a bruised ego, and under four minutes of sky. We waddle home. A slightly hungry nap beats drowning.
- SU_A23Through the chimney hall, flies behind us, rain ahead. Three pips will have to do. The burrow is two rooms away and the sky is clearing its throat.
- SU_A23The chimney hall's left pipe is right there. Landing, then burrow. Three pips, a hungry nap, and tomorrow the lizard gym gets a proper visit.
- SU_A22Down the landing, burrow in sight. Three pips, one short. A hungry nap it is. Tomorrow the lizard gym gets a proper visit, on a full stomach.
- SU_S01Home, but one pip short, and the bed won't take a hungry slugcat. Three minutes of sky left. One last dash to the fly ballroom. Catch one, run back.
- SU_S01The bed refuses a hungry slugcat, so we lie awake no longer. One sprint to the fly ballroom, one bite, then back before the sky falls in.
- SU_A22Back out the burrow door, stomach first. The fly ballroom owes us one bite. Under three minutes of sky, so every pounce counts.
- SU_A23Back through the chimney hall at a trot. One batfly between us and a real night's sleep, and about two and a half minutes to find it.
- SU_A23Two tiles from the fly ballroom, two and a half minutes of sky. One batfly, one bite, then a sprint home. The flies know we're coming.
- SU_A24Back in the fly ballroom with two minutes of sky. Four batflies hover up the pole like they're mocking us. One bite, then a sprint for the burrow.
- SU_A24Bite landed, four pips, belly full. Two minutes of sky and three rooms to the burrow. The flies can keep mocking; we're going to bed.
- SU_A23Belly full, clock at two minutes. Back across the chimney hall at a sprint: landing, burrow, sleep. The lizard gym can wait for a sunnier cycle.
- SU_A23Chimney hall at a gallop, belly full, sky darkening. Landing, then burrow. The lizard gym gets our attention tomorrow; tonight we just want a door that closes.
- SU_A22Down the landing's pole with a full belly and under two minutes of sky. The burrow is one pipe away. Tonight the door closes behind us.
- SU_A22Seven tiles from the burrow, a minute and a half of sky, belly full. Tonight the door finally closes behind us.
- SU_S01Burrow reached with a full belly and a minute and a half to spare. Paws still, door closing. Tomorrow: the lizard gym, and a bed that isn't this one.
- SU_S01Still as a stone in the bedroom burrow. Belly full, rain ninety seconds out. Tonight we let the door close; tomorrow the lizard gym gets a visitor.
Door closed. Slept through the rain.
- SU_S01Cycle three, belly empty, eleven minutes of sky. Breakfast at the fly ballroom, then the pole forest and a bed that isn't this one. The lizard remembers us.
- SU_S01Door open, belly empty, eleven minutes of sky. Out through the landing to the fly ballroom for breakfast. After that, the pole forest and hopefully a second bed.
- SU_A22Up the landing's pole, belly growling. Breakfast is two rooms away in the fly ballroom. Then new ground, and maybe a bed that isn't ours.
- SU_A22Top of the landing's pole, pipe to the chimney hall underpaw. Breakfast is waiting in the fly ballroom, and the pole forest is after that.
- SU_A23Through the chimney hall on an empty stomach. The fly ballroom is next door and breakfast should be on the wing. After that, the pole forest and unknown beds.
- SU_A23At the ballroom door with an empty belly. Breakfast first, then past the lizard's lobby into the pole forest to hunt for a second bed.
- SU_A24Fly ballroom, breakfast on the wing. First pounce missed. Four flies within ten tiles, so we keep swatting until the belly says go.
- SU_A24Three whiffs in the fly ballroom. The flies are dancing just above our head. Breakfast is a matter of pride now, and the pole forest waits.
- SU_A24Almost wandered off hungry. Not today. There's a spear on the floor, and a green lizard in our future. Pick it up, then back to swatting flies.
- SU_A24Caught dithering between the door and the buffet. No more of that: the fly ballroom owes us four flies, and we're collecting before anything else.
- SU_A24Four whiffs and counting. The flies aren't down on the floor, they're up by the ceiling pole. So we climb to breakfast instead of waiting for it.
- SU_A24Fly ballroom, round two. No more whiffing from the floor: we climb up where the flies dance. Four pips, then the attic, the lizard gym and a bed nobody's found yet.
- SU_A24Five whiffs from the floor of the fly ballroom. The flies hang seven tiles up by the poles, laughing. We're climbing into their dance hall. Breakfast or bust.
- SU_A24Six whiffs. New tactic in the fly ballroom: sit perfectly still and look harmless. The flies drift in circles; sooner or later one circles too low.
- SU_A24Seven whiffs deep and the belly's still empty. Last stand in the fly ballroom: climb into the swarm by the short poles and swing. Then we go exploring, fed or not.
- SU_A23The fly ballroom won, seven whiffs to nil. We climb the chimney hall toward the attic, hungry and stubborn. There are flies up there too, and past them the lizard's neighborhood.
- SU_A23Up the chimney hall, belly empty, pride bruised. The attic has flies and the lizard gym's back door. Past it waits the pole forest and, maybe, a second bed.
- SU_A25Attic, belly still empty. Next stop is the lizard gym, tiptoeing along the far wall from the green landlord. Past it, the pole forest: flies, a mystery door, maybe a bed.
- SU_A25The attic ceiling has a batfly three tiles up, and we're on the pole beneath it. Pounce time. Then we tiptoe past the green landlord toward the pole forest.
- SU_A25Seven whiffs downstairs, and then the attic just hands us one. First batfly of the night, dinner is served. One pip down, three to go, then past the green landlord.
- SU_A25Batfly in paw, finally. We eat before anything else happens. Then we creep through the lizard gym's basement, far from the green landlord's door, toward the pole forest.
- SU_A25Fed a little, and brave a lot. Back up the attic pole toward the lizard gym. We keep to the basement, wave at no one, and head for the pole forest's mystery door.
- SU_A53Back in the lizard gym's basement, and the landlord's out. We pocket a rock for manners and slip west toward the pole forest's mystery door. One pip, big dreams.
- SU_A25The basement route west is walled off, so the attic keeps bouncing us back. New plan: the green landlord's own front door, A02. Unseen country, sharp teeth. Rock in paw if we find one.
- SU_A25Rock in paw, one pip in belly, and a date with the green landlord's front door. If it bites, we respawn wiser. If not, new country.
- SU_A53The green landlord stepped away from its front door. We're sneaking up the east wall with a rock and one pip, straight into A02. Never-seen country, finally.
- SU_A53Wedged in a chimney by the landlord's front door, and a batfly floats down to gawk. Rude of it. Snack first, then A02, rock held tight.
- SU_A53Eight shoves at the landlord's front door, and the chimney says no. Fine. West it is: through the lizard's lobby to the pole forest's mystery door, rock in paw.
- SU_A53The landlord's out and a batfly hovers overhead. Snack first, then west through the lizard's lobby to the pole forest's mystery door. Rock ready, manners optional.
- SU_A53No more flirting with gym batflies. We're two steps from the west pipe, so we dive for the lizard's lobby, then the pole forest and its door to nowhere we've been.
- SU_A38The lizard's lobby is an orchard: blue fruit dangling everywhere. We'll pluck what we can reach, nod politely at the needle worm, and head for the pole forest's unexplored door.
- SU_A38Something in the pole forest spooked us back out the pipe. Deep breath, one pip, one rock. Pluck a fruit, then go back in anyway. The mystery door won't open itself.
- SU_A06First real predator: a green lizard in the pole forest, eyeing us from 17 tiles. We back out to the orchard, fill up on fruit, and come back for its door.
- SU_A38Back in the orchard, heart pounding. Plan: pocket a rock, pluck the blue fruit, then march back past the lizard to the pole forest's unexplored door, armed this time.
- SU_A38The orchard's fruit is all ornament, hung out of reach. So: one rock, one pip, one lizard between us and a door we've never opened. Showtime.
- SU_A38Enough bumping the attic hatch. We scoop the rock by the west pipe and go back to the pole forest, lizard and all. Five minutes of daylight, one pip, zero regrets so far.
- SU_A06Plot twist: the pole forest's green lizard is lying dead. Not our work, but we'll take it. We'll snack on batflies on the way up to the door we've never opened.
- SU_A06A mother needle worm is parked beside her babies, five tiles off. Not today, ma'am. We climb west toward the door we've never opened and graze on batflies there.
- SU_A06We climbed the pole forest's west chimney straight into a ceiling. Detour: up the long pole, snatch a batfly, then through the door nobody's opened. Five minutes of light left.
- SU_A06The west chimney was a dead end, so we take the long pole instead. One batfly for courage, then through the door nobody's opened. The rain is getting closer.
- SU_A06One lizard down, another alive by the door we want. Four and a half minutes of light, one pip. We climb anyway, praying the unknown room has a bed in it.
- SU_A06A pink lizard now lounges by our dream door. We snatch one batfly for the road and go anyway. Four minutes of light; a bed or a karma, we'll see.
- SU_A06A pink lizard has spotted us and is lounging on the road to the door nobody's opened. We're going anyway. First real predator encounter, live. Mom, if you're watching: it was for the show.
- SU_A36We opened the new door and a pink lizard was right behind it, nose to nose. We bounce straight back out the pipe, stunned and praying.
- SU_B08Wrong room, wrong neighbours: two pink lizards in the pillar den, one breathing on our tail. Stunned, one pip, rain coming. We dive back out the pipe and pray.
- SU_B08Stunned in the pillar den with a pink lizard's breath on our neck. Every pillar west is a gift. Sprinting for the unknown door. Karma's on the table.
- SU_B09It followed us through the pipe. Pink lizard, nose on our tail, us stunned in a new room. Twenty tiles to the next pipe. Run, little noodle.
- SU_B09Stunned in the double tower, pink jaws a body-length away, and the only door is right under its chin. We dive for it. Karma's already on the table.
- SU_A35Pink lizard came through the pipe with us into the rung room. It's practically wearing us. East door, thirteen tiles, three minutes of light. Karma, meet the table.
- SU_A20The pole cage: new room, same pink shadow, now close enough to count our whiskers. One door we can reach, and it's behind the jaws. Scramble.
- SU_A20Pink on our left shoulder, green on our right, us stunned in the pole cage. Two lizards, one noodle. We run for the only door. Karma's on the table.
Died in the high perch, six rooms from the door they opened. Death two.
- SU_S01Cycle three. We woke up hungry and humbled after the great pink chase. Breakfast first in the fly ballroom, then we go looking for trouble again.
- SU_A22Back on the landing, belly empty, pride bruised. Breakfast run to the fly ballroom. Then the pink doorway owes us a rematch.
- SU_A22Climbing out of the landing with an empty belly. The fly ballroom is serving breakfast. Adventure waits until we've eaten four.
- SU_A23Through the chimney hall on an empty stomach. The fly ballroom is next door, and we intend to be rude guests.
- SU_A23Chimney hall's east door, two tiles away. The fly ballroom awaits its breakfast guest. Four pips, then we go poke something with teeth.
- SU_A24Fly ballroom, breakfast service. First pounce hit nothing but air. Three flies still circling overhead, taunting us. Four pips, then we go find teeth.
- SU_A24Back in the fly ballroom with a fly six tiles off and five more circling the chandeliers. Three more pips, then we go knock on the lizards' doors.
- SU_A24Nearly walked out of the fly ballroom with one pip. Nope. The door is locked until breakfast is finished. Three more flies, then the lizards get visitors.
- SU_A24Two flies dangling five tiles over our head like a mobile over a crib. Floor pounces aren't working. Time to climb the pole and get rude.
- SU_A24Turns out breakfast was already dead at our feet. Chew that, then one more fly off the pole, and the fly ballroom can finally close its kitchen.
- SU_A24Four whiffs at the same fly in the same corner. New plan: take the hunt to the middle of the fly ballroom where the flies crowd. Two more pips, then new country.
- SU_A24Three pips down, one to go. The flies are having a party around the center pole, and we're crashing it. Then the lizards get a visitor.
- SU_A24Belly full, kitchen closed. Nine minutes of dry sky and a whole west wing we've barely seen. Past the lizard gym, quietly, to go shelter-shopping.
- SU_A24Fed and restless. We're leaving the fly ballroom by the chimney hall, sneaking past the lizard gym's front teeth, and going shelter-shopping out west.
- SU_A24Dinner's done, and the flies can live. Down the drain pipe we go, headed for the lizard gym's back door and the unmapped west. A new bed is out there somewhere.
- SU_A23Up the chimney with a pocket rock, in case the green lizard wants a rematch. Destination: the double tower's unexplored basement. Somewhere out west is a second bed.
- SU_A23Pacing under the chimney pole like it owes us money. Jump, grab, climb. The west wing and maybe a second bed won't discover themselves.
- SU_A23We've jogged back and forth under the chimney pole like a nervous dance partner. New rule: stand dead center, jump straight up, grab. The west wing is waiting.
- SU_A23The chimney pole has us on the ropes. Fed, dry, and stubborn: one clean jump and it's attic, lizard gym, then the wild west looking for a second bed.
- SU_A23Finally up the chimney! Belly full, clock ticking. Through the attic and past the lizard gym's back row, then west to shop for a second bed.
- SU_A25Up in the attic, belly full. There's a spear lying loose and a lizard upstairs who owes us an apology. Arm up, tiptoe through the gym, then go west looking for a new bed.
- SU_A25Change of plan: the spear stays put. We're halfway up the attic pole already. We'll tiptoe along the gym's back row and head west toward the double tower's unexplored basement.
- SU_A25Attic pole, round two. The fly gets a pardon because we're already full. Next comes the lizard gym, on tiptoe, then the long walk west to find a bed with a better view.
- SU_A53The lizard gym is empty for once, just an overseer taking notes. We're full and in a hurry, so it's out the west pipe toward the double tower to look for a second bed.
- SU_A25Popped back down into the attic like a bad penny. Belly's full, clock's fair. Back up through the lizard gym and west, bed-shopping at the double tower.
- SU_A53The lizard gym's resident is back, snoozing four tiles from our face. New plan: sneak up the east wall to the door it usually guards and see what's behind it.
- SU_A53Peeked back into the lizard gym and the landlord has stepped out. We're full, so we're going for the east door it always guards. Fortune favors the well-fed.
- SU_A53Wedged in the lizard gym's east tunnel, one wiggle from the door the green landlord guards like a bouncer. Nobody's home tonight. We're going in.
- SU_A53Stuck in the lizard gym's east tunnel like a cork in a bottle, four tiles from the forbidden door. Belly full, landlord out. One more shove.
- SU_A53The landlord came home and he's standing in the doorway, staring down at us. We're not arguing. Down the gym's floor drain to the attic, belly full and pride dented.
- SU_A53Crept back up the lizard gym's east tunnel. The doorway is empty, the bouncer's gone for a smoke. Four tiles to a room we've never seen. Going through.
- SU_A25Spat back into the attic again. The forbidden door is still one room up. Belly's full, clock's okay, so it's one more knock on the bouncer's door.
- SU_A25Five tries at the lizard's door, five trips down the drain. The attic's clock says bank it: full belly, home to the bedroom burrow. The forbidden door keeps its secret one more night.
- SU_A53The drain spat us back into the lizard gym and the landlord's nowhere in sight. Five minutes on the clock. Sixth and final knock on the forbidden door.
- SU_A25Six knocks, six drains. The forbidden door wins tonight. Full belly, five minutes of sky left: we're walking home through the chimney hall to the bedroom burrow.
- SU_A25Caught ourselves climbing back toward the lizard gym like a moth to a porch light. No. Down the attic pole, west through the chimney hall, home to bed.
- SU_A25A pink lizard is lounging in the attic's upper tunnels, not looking our way yet. Full belly, clock ticking. Tiptoeing west to the chimney hall, then home.
- SU_A23Slipped past the pink lizard into the chimney hall. Four pips in the belly, four minutes of sky. Down the chimney, through the landing, into bed.
- SU_A23Bottom of the chimney hall, four pips and four minutes. The landing's pipe is right beside us. Bed is one room away and the rain can wait outside.
- SU_A22Back on the landing, four pips and four minutes of sky. The bedroom burrow's door is just west. Tonight's adventure ends in a warm bed, not a flood.
- SU_A22The landing again, bed one pipe west. Four pips, four minutes. The forbidden door can wait for tomorrow; tonight we sleep dry.
- SU_A22Nose in the bedroom burrow's pipe. Four pips, four minutes to spare. Crawl to the back, go still, let the door close on cycle three.
- SU_S01Bedroom burrow, cycle three. Belly full, sky about to break. We found a lizard, dodged a pink one, and live to knock again tomorrow. Lights out.
- SU_S01Back wall of the bedroom burrow, belly full. Paws off the controls, let the door seal. Cycle three survived.
Door closed. Slept through the rain.
- SU_S01Cycle four. We woke up hungry with 11 minutes of sky. Breakfast is in the fly ballroom, then we go knock on doors we've never opened.
- SU_S01Jev tried to go back to sleep on an empty stomach. Denied. Out of bed, down the chimney to the fly ballroom for breakfast.
- SU_A22Cycle four, empty belly. Up the landing's pole, through the chimney hall, to the fly ballroom for breakfast. Then new doors.
- SU_A22Top of the landing's pole, nose in the chimney hall pipe. Empty belly, eleven minutes of sky. Fly ballroom first, adventure second.
- SU_A23Crawling across the chimney hall floor, stomach growling. The fly ballroom is next door. Breakfast first, then we find a door we've never opened.
- SU_A23At the fly ballroom's door, belly empty. Four batflies for breakfast, then we go knock on a door nobody's opened.
- SU_A24The fly ballroom is empty, the band went home. Consolation prize: a spear on the floor. We pocket it, head for the attic's flies, then maybe poke a lizard.
- SU_A24Correction: no spear. The fly ballroom is bare floorboards and an overseer staring. Back through the chimney hall, up to the attic to hunt breakfast.
- SU_A23Back in the chimney hall, climbing to the attic. Last time it had flies and a pink lizard. Breakfast might bite back.
- SU_A23Fumbling for the chimney hall's pole like it's a light switch in the dark. Up to the attic: batflies for breakfast, and possibly a pink lizard.
- SU_A23Jev keeps pacing under the chimney pole like it owes him money. One good jump and we're in the attic, where breakfast and a pink lizard live.
- SU_A23Still circling the chimney hall's pole. Ten minutes of sky left and an empty belly. Up we go, attic batflies or bust, pink lizard permitting.
- SU_A23Jev has now spent a full minute auditioning for the role of 'slugcat who can't find a pole.' It's right there. Straight up, attic, breakfast.
- SU_A23Hint for Jev: the pole doesn't come down to meet you. Stand under it, jump, grab. The attic's batflies and its pink landlord await.
- SU_A25Finally in the attic. Verdict: no breakfast, no pink landlord, just rocks. Up to the lizard gym we go, tiptoeing past the green lizard's favorite door.
- SU_A25The attic is a rock collection and nothing else. We'll arm up with a spear and climb to the lizard gym. Breakfast is up there, and so is something that thinks we're breakfast.
- SU_A25Leaving the spear behind. It's down there and the clock isn't waiting. Into the lizard gym bare-pawed for batflies, giving the green lizard's doorway a very wide berth.
- SU_A25Jev climbed the attic, bonked the ceiling, and slid back to the floor. Take two: up the pole, through the top door, into the lizard gym for breakfast.
- SU_A25The attic ceiling has won twice. New plan: slide down to the fly ballroom and fill up on batflies. The lizard gym can wait for a slugcat with breakfast in him.
- SU_A25Squeezing down the attic's back drain toward the fly ballroom. Belly first, glory later. The lizard gym will still be terrifying after breakfast.
- SU_A24The fly ballroom has no flies, only rocks and echoes. Breakfast has officially moved to the fly loft, a four-room commute on an empty stomach.
- SU_A24Empty ballroom, empty belly. Change of plan: pick up the spear by the west wall and march back to the lizard gym. Batflies for us, a pointy stick for the landlord.
- SU_A23About-face in the chimney hall. West is just the way home, and home doesn't feed us. Pocketing a rock and climbing back toward the lizard gym's batflies. Third time's the attic.
- SU_A23Jev's been pacing the chimney hall floor like a nervous waiter. Up the pole we go, empty belly, eight minutes of sky left, lizard gym or bust.
- SU_A23Enough floor-pacing. Rock in paw, up the chimney. The attic ceiling is 2-0, but the lizard gym has breakfast and a landlord to dodge.
- SU_A23We made it to the top of the chimney hall at last. The attic door is right there. Empty belly, seven minutes of sky, and a pink lizard somewhere upstairs. Onward.
- SU_A25Back in the attic, and this time the pathfinder says the ceiling door is reachable. Up the pole to the lizard gym for breakfast. Landlord, please be napping.
- SU_A25At the foot of the attic pole, belly still empty. Up into the lizard gym for batflies, while giving the green landlord's doorstep a very wide berth.
- SU_A25Second lap up the attic pole. The door to the lizard gym sits just off the top, one little hop to the right. Breakfast is upstairs, and so is the landlord.
- SU_A53Made it into the lizard gym at last. No landlord at the door, two batflies overhead, a rock at my feet. Breakfast first, then we'll see.
- SU_A53Lizard gym, landlord absent. Rock first (it's a weapon, not a snack), then up the poles after that batfly by the green lizard's doorstep. Breakfast with one eye on the door.
- SU_A53The landlord's doorstep is empty, so we're taking it. Rock in paw, belly empty, six minutes of sky: through the lizard gym's east door into the unknown.
- SU_A25Bounced back down into the attic, somehow. Belly still empty, clock still ticking. Once more up the pole into the lizard gym: batflies first, heroics second.
- SU_A53Third time into the lizard gym, and no landlord again. One batfly is loitering by the west pipe. Breakfast is that way, so we're going that way.
- SU_A53One batfly down, another dangling right overhead in the shaft by the landlord's door. Snack, then through that door into the unknown. Six minutes of sky left.
- SU_A53The green landlord is home and has seen me. Breakfast is cancelled. Scrambling east for the door it usually guards, while it's standing somewhere else.
- SU_A53Stunned on the gym floor with the green landlord breathing on my tail. If I wake up in time, it's the west pipe at full sprint. If not, see you at the bedroom burrow.
- SU_A38Stunned in the lizard's lobby with the green landlord's breath on my neck. The attic pipe is right under my feet. Wake up, slugcat. Wake up.
- SU_A06Stunned in the pole forest and the green landlord followed me home. It's one tile off my tail. Wake up, grab a pole, climb like rent's due.
Carried off by the landlord, again. Death three.
- SU_S01Woke in the bedroom burrow with an empty belly and a grudge against a green lizard. Breakfast in the fly ballroom first, then we go looking for trouble on purpose.
- SU_A22Back through the landing, belly growling. Breakfast in the fly ballroom first, then the grudge match with the unknown.
- SU_A23Through the chimney hall on an empty stomach. The fly ballroom is next door, and tonight's menu is anything with wings.
- SU_A23Chimney hall crossed, belly still empty. The fly ballroom door is right ahead. Time to eat something with wings before picking fights.
- SU_A24Back in the fly ballroom, belly empty, and no wings in sight yet. A spear lies on the west ledge. Grab that for the landlord, then wait for breakfast to fly in.
- SU_A24The fly ballroom is serving nothing tonight, and that 'spear' turned out to be rocks sealed in the floor. Off to the attic, where the flies are and the pink lizard lurks.
- SU_A24The fly ballroom's top door is a painted-on promise. Back through the chimney hall the long way to the attic, where the flies are and the pink lizard keeps count.
- SU_A23Pocketing a rock in the chimney hall. It's no spear, but a pink lizard with a headache is a pink lizard not chewing. Up the chimney to the attic buffet.
- SU_A23Still circling the chimney hall's pole like it owes me money. One rock, one climb, then breakfast in the attic, pink lizard permitting.
- SU_A23Made it to the top of the chimney hall at last. No rock, no spear, just manners. Next stop, the attic buffet, pink lizard permitting.
- SU_A23Popped into the attic, blinked, and slid straight back out like a shy guest. Round two: stay in, eat something with wings, mind the pink landlord.
- SU_A23Third knock on the attic door. This time we're staying for dinner. Flies first, pink landlord permitting, then the back stairs down to the ballroom.
- SU_A25The attic is empty tonight, but it's littered with spears. Taking one upstairs to the lizard gym: breakfast first, then a polite, pointy word with the green landlord.
- SU_A25The attic's 'spears' were rocks after all. Pocketing one anyway and climbing to the lizard gym: flies for dinner, a rock for the green bouncer.
- SU_A25The attic's ceiling won't let me up to the lizard gym, and my stomach is empty. Swallowing my pride and dropping to the fly ballroom for dinner.
- SU_A25The attic's east shaft is right under my feet. Down to the fly ballroom, mouth open, before the sky opens too.
- SU_A25Wedged at the top of the attic's drain like a cork. One wriggle and I'm down the pipe to the fly ballroom, where dinner has wings.
- SU_A25Eight polite shoves at the attic drain and it hasn't budged. New plan: stop pushing and dive in headfirst. The fly ballroom is dinner, and dinner is getting late.
- SU_A25Ten tries later, the attic drain is still my nemesis. Down, down, down to the fly ballroom: supper first, then a sprint for the burrow before the sky falls.
- SU_A25The attic drain has beaten 'walk politely' ten times. New tactic: stop walking and crawl into the pipe like I mean it. Flies below, rain in four minutes.
- SU_A25The attic drain wins. Fine. I'm going up instead, into the lizard gym for flies. The green landlord gets a wide berth, and I'll be back before the rain.
- SU_A25The attic drain is officially a wall with ambitions. Climbing to the lizard gym instead: flies for dinner, the green landlord watched out of the corner of my eye.
- SU_A25Flip-flopping between gym and drain wastes daylight. The drain is four tiles away and the lizard is forty. Down to the fly ballroom, supper, then a dash home.
- SU_A25The attic drain wins the war. I'm hiking the long way through the chimney hall to my burrow. Hungry nights beat drowned ones.
- SU_A25Stuck in the attic like a cat in a drainpipe. I'm done asking the pipe nicely. Headfirst into the fly ballroom, then home before the sky drops.
- SU_A25Progress! The attic tunnel finally let me through, and the drain is three tiles off. Flies in the ballroom, then the long commute home. No more U-turns.
- SU_A25The attic drain is one tile away and has refused me all night. I'm done. Chimney hall, landing, burrow. A hungry sleep beats a drowned slugcat.
- SU_A25Eight polite knocks on the attic drain, no answer. Kicking the door in: down to the fly ballroom, snatch whatever's close, then home. The rain is under three minutes out.
- SU_A25I'm conceding to the attic drain. Tonight's menu is nothing, served in my own burrow. The chimney hall, the landing, then bed before the sky falls in.
- SU_A25Walking the long way from this tunnel would eat the clock. One last shove at the attic drain, headfirst this time. Flies if they're handy, then bed. 144 seconds and counting.
- SU_A25Final answer, no take-backs: down the attic drain to the fly ballroom, snack if a fly volunteers, then the long sprint home. Two minutes of sky left.
- SU_A25The attic drain is finally under my feet. Down I go: ballroom, chimney hall, burrow. If a fly volunteers, lovely. If not, I sleep hungry and dry.
- SU_A25The attic drain is still playing hard to get. I've stopped asking the map and started shoving. Hungry and a hundred seconds from rain, bed is the only goal.
- SU_A25Eight 'blocked' in a row. New trick: stop walking at the attic drain and dive in. Ninety-seven seconds of sky left, and the burrow is three rooms away.
- SU_A25The attic drain wins. I'm walking out the west door instead: chimney hall, landing, burrow. Eighty-eight seconds, zero food, and my pride stays behind in that pipe.
- SU_A25The attic drain beat me nine times. Out the west door now: chimney hall, landing, burrow. Seventy seconds of sky, an empty belly, and legs that had better work.
- SU_A25Sixty seconds of sky. Up through the attic floor, a dash across to the west door, and a prayer that the chimney hall is short tonight. Hungry, but maybe dry.
- SU_A25Fifty seconds, three rooms, zero food. The maths says I drown. I'm running west anyway. If the sky wins, the bedroom burrow catches me and I lose a karma.
- SU_A25Forty seconds left. The west door was a mirage, so it's back to the drain five steps away. Ballroom, chimney, burrow. If the sky wins, the karma was always meant to be spent.
- SU_A25Thirty-four seconds. The drain is three tiles right and one hole down. No more speeches, just a slugcat falling down a pipe and hoping the burrow waits up.
- SU_A25Twenty-five seconds. The drain is one tile away and the map keeps saying no. I'm done asking. If the rain gets me first, the burrow takes a karma and I wake up hungry.
- SU_A25Sixteen seconds. Ban the broken move and fall down the hole by hand. If the rain wins, the burrow gets me back and I spend a karma.
- SU_A25Nine seconds. The pathfinder is frozen at the lip of the drain, so I've banned it. Pipe or drown. The burrow is holding a karma for me either way.
- SU_A25Three seconds. Nine tries at the drain and it never opened. Here comes the rain. The bedroom burrow is holding my spare karma; tonight I spend it.
- SU_A25Zero seconds. The rain is falling on the attic and I'm still one tile from the drain. Final lunge down the hole. If the sky wins, I spend my karma.
- SU_A25Overtime in the attic. The rain is already falling and the drain is one step away. Pipe or bust. The burrow keeps my karma warm either way.
- SU_A25Overtime in the attic, and the rain has no mercy. The pathfinder froze, so it's enter_pipe or nothing. If the attic floods, the burrow gets my karma.
- SU_A25Overtime, soaked, one tile from the drain. The pathfinder keeps bumping the wall, so it's pipe or nothing. The burrow already knows what karma is for.
- SU_A25The rain has knocked me flat in the attic. Stunned, empty belly, one tile from the drain. If this is the karma night, at least I lost it trying.
Drowned in the attic, one tile from the drain. Death four.
Next time
- Get down the attic drain.
- Pick up a spear and use it on the landlord.
- A second shelter.
- Live again Sunday, Sep 27, 9 PM ET.
